The past editions of the Tasting Farm are still fresh in our memories. What a treat it was. From long, atmospheric tables in the greenery to the sound of glasses clinking in the evening sun. Guests coming together, discovering new flavours and, above all, relaxing together. Exactly what the Proefhoeve is all about.

During previous editions, we were privileged to experience so many beautiful moments. Groups of friends toasting to life, families enjoying pure dishes together and colleagues taking a break from the daily hustle and bustle. All in a setting where tranquillity, nature and hospitality are central. That is what makes the Proefhoeve so unique.

Enjoying taste and experience together

What makes the Proefhoeve special is the combination of atmosphere and quality. Each dish is prepared with care, paying attention to pure, local ingredients and surprising flavours. No rush, no fuss, just time to enjoy.

Jan's wines play a major role in this. At previous editions, too, the carefully selected wines perfectly complemented the dishes. A good glass of wine lifts a dish to a higher level. It brings flavours together and completes the experience. All glasses served are BOB glasses, an additional glass of wine is of course available at extra cost.  

It is exactly that feeling we will take back to the upcoming edition, the last edition with Jan van de Kelder van de Coningh.

The Proefhoeve 2026: put 9, 10 or 11 July in your diary

Preparations for the new edition are in full swing. On 9, 10 and 11 July, we will once again open our garden for a weekend full of flavour, conviviality and relaxation.

Walk-in is from 6pm, with an aperitif. Then take a seat at a table under the marquee. Discover new dishes, taste tasty combinations and enjoy the warm, relaxed atmosphere the Proefhoeve is known for. Whether you come with friends, family or colleagues, this is a time to make memories together. We will serve a total of four dishes. The evening will last until around 9.30pm.
We serve outside under the tent, if it is a bit chilly, don't forget to bring something warm.

Once again this year, we can count on the wonderful wines of Jan van de Kelder van de Coningh. He serves two Austrian wines with each course. His passion and knowledge ensure a special selection time after time. Wines that match the dishes and continue to surprise you. Expect great stories, special flavours and, above all, lots of enjoyment moments.

At De Loeghoeve, everything is about experience. Away from the hustle and bustle, back to basics. During the Proefhoeve, you feel that in everything. The tranquillity of the Drenthe countryside, the warm decor, the attention to detail.

You notice it as soon as you arrive. The smell of freshly prepared food, the gentle murmur of guests, the first sip of wine that is just right. Here you don't have to do anything and can just be.

What does it cost?

A full evening programme for just €59 per person or go for the two-person Proefhoeve package, including overnight stay and breakfast for €289.

All glasses served are BOB glasses, an additional glass of wine is available at extra cost.

We charge a €5 surcharge to non-alcoholic guests. Booking is essential!
